MEET
Jenny has been a lawyer since 1992. She spent her early career in law primarily representing people seeking relief for violations of their civil rights and their rights under the First Amendment. She also litigated a wide variety of cases in both federal and state courts in Chicago. In addition to practicing law, she taught legal writing at what is now the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. She left the practice of law to pursue a career in healthcare, first becoming a nurse and then traveling the country to teach nurses, doctors, and hospital administrators how to improve their leadership skills and how to care for their patients with empathy and compassion.
She decided to return to the law to fill what she saw and heard was a need in her community. For the last couple of years, there have been no women operating their own law firms in Door County. People often seek out women when hiring someone for the deeply personal or emotional matters that arise in legal representation. With her background in protecting individuals’ human rights and providing compassionate healthcare, Jenny seeks to fill a gap in the legal talent pool in Door County.
Jenny is excited to be returning to the practice of law in Sturgeon Bay to provide its residents with top tier legal services.
